CallPilot sends transactional SMS notifications to subscribed business users regarding inbound call activity handled by the CallPilot AI receptionist. These messages may include missed call alerts, call summaries, caller details, issue summaries, and urgency classifications. These messages are operational and account-related, not marketing or promotional.

  • SMS is sent only after explicit opt-in during onboarding; users are not auto-enrolled by default.

How users opt in

Users opt in during account onboarding by entering their mobile number and checking an unchecked consent box agreeing to receive SMS notifications related to their business account. Consent is collected before any messages are sent.

Only business owners or authorized staff who are permitted to manage the account should enroll the mobile number used for these notifications.
